3. Enquiries, introductions and professional advice
3.1When a founder, adviser or introducer contacts us about a business through the Site (an “Enquiry”), Orvane Group may, in assessing a potential acquisition, carry out background checks on key individuals, including the owners and directors of the business concerned.
3.2Whether to take any Enquiry further is decided by Orvane Group in its sole discretion. Our aim is to give a substantive reply to every Enquiry within 24 hours on working days, as set out on the Site. Please keep confidential documents out of an Enquiry until a confidentiality agreement is in place. Any fee or other arrangement with an introducer applies only when agreed in writing.
3.3The Site does not provide investment, financial, tax, legal or other professional advice, and no Content is an offer or provision of such advice. You should obtain advice from independent professional advisers before making any decision about selling, buying or investing in a business. In particular, we recommend that you take independent professional advice if, following more detailed discussions between us, you wish to proceed with a sale.
4. Security
4.1Orvane Group cannot guarantee the privacy or confidentiality of any information that passes over the internet. By accessing and using the Site you accept that electronic communications may not be free from interference by third parties, and that Orvane Group will not be liable for any loss arising from such interference.
